We’re back in the HUB room at newsong, July 22nd 7pm. It’ll be a night of worship with a continued discussion and talk about the core of our beliefs. The last 2 times we talked about hearing his voice, declaring his Freedom, this week we’ll be drawing on John 4 and John 15. see you this Thursday!
This thursday night The CORE will me congregating for a night of fun festivities! As the title suggests it will be a night of games; anything and everything from board games to card games to video games!
Here is just a brief glimpse of what will be offered:

If there are any games you would like to share feel free to bring them! There will also be some refreshments provided so come out and have a good time playing some good old fashioned board games or maybe even some video games. So see you all thursday!

The CORE presents it’s Summer BBQ! On July 1st Thursday (6:30pm-10pm) Come and join all of us who are in summer school, not in summer school, working, etc and just have some good food and fun. Bring a friend or two! Just come and enjoy the fellowship with the community we have all been blessed with.
Please meet at Newsong Church by 6:30pm so we can arrange rides to leave by 6:45pm! MEET AT NEWSONG, NOT the park.
The park is just past the Irvine Civic Center on Alton and Harvard. We will have directions for you!
Bring anything you want! There is plenty of grass space and even a baseball diamond, so bring whatever you have if you’d like.

Summer is here and the Edge will be meeting this coming thursday (June 24th) 7pm at the Hub, at Newsong. FACEBOOK event page
Our Summer theme and focus will be on THE CORE; the purpose of THE CORE is for us as one body, one ministry, and one family to go back to the core of our beliefs, who we are, and what our purpose is. Having a deeper understanding of why we do things and doing what we were MADE to do. Prepare your hearts to receive Him and love from the community that will be create because of Him. He is our first love and we are forever His.
We meet every THURSDAY at 7pm starting on June 24th! Every two weeks will be a large group meeting (in the HUB) like the Re:Acts we have during the school year and on the off weeks we will be having some sort of activity for everyone to participate in (in the MPR - Multipurpose Room).
Bring your friends whether they go to Newsong or UCI, UCR, IVC, OCC, WHATEVER. Everyone is more than welcome to join in on the fun and experiencing small groups as well. Any questions? Contact Abe Park, our college Pastor @ abe.park@newsong.net.

Our BWAM report night was an awesome walk down memory lane for those that went but also a time for those who supported us from home to get a glimpse of how we saw God move in our team and in our locations: Santa Ana, LA, Mexico City.
During the night a video was suppose to be shown but we ran out of time so check this powerful video out that introduces Jake and Nuru International.
April Diaz spoke on our Body is God’s temple (last fri), and it’s an important discipline to take care of our Health and our Fitness and our nutrition. It really challenged our typical mindset of how our spirituality is devoid of or totally separate from our physical, emotional and mental parts of our lives…in actuality it’s all connected. Our Physical bodies need to be well, so that the emotional side can be healthy, and our mental sharpness is there and so our spiritual connection and alertness is at its peak.
