The Edge, Newsong Church’s college ministry, will be hosting a Movement of Creative Artists (MOCA) on March 3, 2012. Saturday, 7:30pm MOCA is a free benefit night celebrating the creativity of art, music, & beauty while raising money for our BWAM (the Edge’s Spring short-term missions program) host organizations and causes, as well as an organization called HelpLive, an orphanage in Thailand (http://helplive.org/).
Have a heart for service and missions? Want to spend your spring break serving others? We have opportunities to serve the poorest neighborhoods in America, serve refugees who just got to America, and young girls who are being rescued out of Human Trafficking in Mexico City. Our next Large group gathering will be Jan 20th 2012 Friday. @Newsong 6:00pm. It will be the first gathering of the Winter Quarter. Dinner Begins at 6pm in the Foyer. With an extended time of worship and prayer in the Sanctuary.
we are not meeting on the 6th as most of the students are not back from winter break, and the 13th we will be up at the winter retreat.

Partial scholarships are available as a first come first serve basis. Scholarships are not guranteed, but each applicant will be given full consideration. Scholarship deadline is Dec 25th. Please email abe.park@newsong.net 150-200 word email answering 3 questions:

It’s that time of the season where the air is colder, winter clothes are in, and thanksgiving holiday is right around the corner. These are clear signs that winter is fast approaching. Speaking of winter, the Edge’s Winter Retreat is coming and that means planning is on its way.
The First Winter Retreat Planning/Meeting will be this Friday, November 4th, 2011 after React at Newsong Chruch! If you’re interested in being a part of the planning team, please come to the first general meeting to hear how you can help. It will be a short meeting about the different teams that go into winter retreat planning.
If you cannot come to the winter retreat planning, then at least come to React. We hope to see you there!
Re:act our large group college gathering is meeting tonite (fri) at 7:30pm in the HUB room of newsong. Please come and join us for a nite of music, connection, and message. Hope your enjoying the weekend already!
