This Friday we have the special privilege of praying over the BWAM (Break With A Mission) teams before they head out to their respective mission fields this spring break. Come join us for an extended time of worship and prayer!

MOCA is a night show casing many talents from dancing, to acting, to singing! This year at MOCA, we’ll be raising money for that Haiti Relief. MOCA is a FREE event but we will be accepting donations throughout the night that will go directly to the Haiti Relief.

New Christmas time video for the Edge Retreat!

The Edge will not be meeting over Thanksgiving friday, we’ll be taking a break as many students are going back home for Thanksgiving. Enjoy your time with your families. See you back for the last Large college Gathering of 2009 on Dec 4th in the HUB at 7:30pm at Newsong.

Re:act, the large group gathering for the edge will meeting on the UCI campus. The building is Biological Sciences 3 (BS3). 7:30pm Friday. Nov 20th. Come join us as our friend David Brubaker will be sharing the word.  This event is open to all college age students, non UCI and UCI students welcomed!!! Bring your friends!

Recently a student and I got to go down to Mexico City and visit NEO (Newsong Mexico City). The purpose of our trip was to help document and record the story of The Well. Benny Yu (site pastor, NEO) and his team felt passionate about making a difference in the fight against human trafficking; specifically sex trafficking. The NEO team wanted to provide a house that could be a Safe house for those young girls saved or rescued from sex trafficking in Mexico City. This trip was eye-opening and disheartening, the realities of human trafficking and how it impacts so many lives is devastating. But the fact that real impact can happen one life at a time; helping a child to go through healing, have a place to belong and learn a new way to live life has really given me a sense of hope.

A fundraiser was held on Halloween Saturday called DDLV (the day of the living). Setting up a Rescue house for children that are rescued from human trafficking in Mexico City

There will be no Re:act on OCT 16. We will be taking a break and Re:act will resume OCT 23rd. OCT 30th Will be a Com.motion night. Com.motion is when a few small groups will get together to spend time and be a community in motion. No Re:act on OCT 30th as well.
